Volunteering Opportunity

Are You Interested in Volunteering ?

Colour Run – 4th November 2021, 8.30am-3.30pm – Milton Country Park, Cambridgeshire

Are you interested in a volunteering opportunity to marshal at the Living Sport Cambridgeshire School Games Colour Run, 4th November?

This brand-new event, aimed at school years 7, 8 & 9, and more specifically those who have struggled with the primary to secondary school transitioning and anxiety following the Covid-19 pandemic, will welcome over 600 young people to Milton Country Park on 4th November 2021.

The event hopes to be an enabler for young people to find and develop their resilience, meet new people and improve their physical and mental wellbeing in a fun and safe environment.

There will be full representation from all Local Authority areas in Cambridgeshire & Peterborough and we hope to bring many partners in on the day, to include mental health charities, local athletics clubs, ‘Park Run’ representatives and more which will not only add to the depth of the event but also display some of the opportunities available to these young people on their doorstep outside of their school day.

Living Sport would welcome any volunteering support on the day and we also have Partnership Opportunities for this event – please do get in touch for details.
